Founded in Cyprus by Stavros Danos, Aries Cerat has become one of the most uncompromising names in ultra high-end audio.

Known for radical engineering, overbuilt power supplies and a complete rejection of conventional design philosophy,

Aries Cerat products are built without compromise.

Pura Sound is proud to represent Aries Cerat in Australia.

The Philosophy

Aries Cerat approaches audio engineering from first principles.

Rather than accepting conventional circuit topologies and refining them incrementally, every design begins by questioning the assumptions on which they are built.

From there, Stavros Danos develops entirely new solutions, free from the constraints of convention.

This philosophy extends across every product the company creates.

Whether designing horn loudspeakers, amplifiers, preamplifiers, turntables or digital-to-analogue converters, the objective remains unchanged: to remove compromises wherever they exist and pursue the most natural and convincing musical reproduction possible.

Innovation

Over numerous visits to the Aries Cerat factory, one thing has remained constant: research and development never stops.

It's not uncommon to encounter prototypes and engineering projects that may not reach production for years, if at all.

The willingness to pursue ideas simply to discover where they lead is part of what defines Aries Cerat.

This is not innovation for novelty's sake. Every new circuit topology, transformer design or mechanical solution is developed with a single objective: to bring the listener closer to the music.

It is an engineering philosophy driven by curiosity rather than tradition, and one that has produced some of the most original audio designs in the world today.

Reliability through Engineering

Over almost a decade of representing Aries Cerat in Australia, we have come to appreciate that this philosophy extends well beyond technical innovation.

There is a consistency that runs through every component, regardless of price or purpose.

Build quality is uncompromising, with substantial chassis construction, proprietary liquid copper finishes and meticulous attention to detail throughout.

More importantly, there is a remarkable level of reliability. In all the years we have represented the brand, we have never returned a component to the factory for repair or submitted a warranty claim.

The Musical Objective

Ultimately, however, engineering is only meaningful if it serves the music.

What continues to distinguish Aries Cerat is not simply its scale, dynamics or resolution, but its ability to reproduce the physical presence of instruments and voices with extraordinary realism.

The weight of a piano, the texture of a cello, the body of a vocalist or the energy of a live performance are conveyed with a naturalness that continually draws attention away from the equipment and back to the music itself.
