The Concero 65 Limited Edition descends directly from the legendary Achilleas amplifier, employing Aries Cerat's celebrated 813 driving 813 circuit topology. The Reference and Signature models are derived from the acclaimed Exsequor monoblocks, utilising the company's advanced 814 driving 813 architecture.
Regardless of model, every Concero 65 is designed around a single objective: to combine the harmonic richness and immediacy of single-ended triodes with the authority, control and dynamic capability more commonly associated with the finest solid-state amplifiers.
Delivering 65 watts of pure Class A power, the Concero 65 is capable of driving a remarkably broad range of loudspeakers while preserving the natural timbre, dimensionality and emotional engagement that define Aries Cerat.
The Concero 65 employs a directly heated 814 driver tube coupled through a bespoke amorphous C-core bifilar-wound interstage transformer into a parallel 813 single-ended output stage.
Large choke-regulated film capacitor banks, triple-filtered filament supplies and oversized custom output transformers are used throughout, with every engineering decision focused on lowering noise, increasing dynamic headroom and preserving signal integrity.
Rather than relying on conventional electrolytic capacitor banks, Aries Cerat uses high-current film capacitors capable of handling vastly greater surge currents while offering significantly lower ESR and ESL. Combined with an 11 kg choke and more than 700,000 µF of total power supply capacitance, the result is an amplifier with exceptional stability, speed and effortless dynamic expression.
